A dancetheatre concert staged in 2014 to music composed by Kristian Blak. The Piece was performed in the Nordic House in Tórshavn with Blak’s music being performed live by the Yggdrasil Ensemble.
The poem “The Four Towers” by author William Heinesen deals with the universal themes of birth, adolescence, adulthood, old age and death, and was the original source of inspiration for Kristian Blak’s compositions. The stage by scenographer Sámal Blak resembles that of an overdimensional drying rack, and facilitates a playful choreographic usage of clothes, clams and a multifunctional mask, through which the themes of the poem are brought to life.
